Graphic Designer/Web Programmer
The graphic designer/web programmer intern will review current webpage and customer resource management software, assist with search engine optimization, increase use of social media outlets and research latest trends in online marketing. This placement is ideal for participants with an advanced study of computer science and programming.
Marketing
The marketing intern will document and compose information for advertising materials, perform marketing research (internet and other channels), hold meetings with international students interested in RealCom services, and perform assigned tasks in other areas of marketing.
Intercultural Foundation
Comprised of Euro Mediterranean institutions and authorities, this nonprofit foundation's objective is to promote peace, dialogue and understanding among cultures and religions in the Mediterranean. ELAP participants will have the opportunity to assist with intercultural activities such as courses, cinema, exhibitions and publications that promote cultural awareness, by employing their native English skills translating texts and web site content, as well as providing simultaneous interpretation at foundation events and programs.
Travel Agency
ELAP participants will assist with the design and implementation of web-site advertising, increase the company's presence through social media outlets as well as generate new business among foreign students studying in Sevilla. This placement is ideal for participants interested in public relations, marketing and tourism.
Health and Fitness Center
Assist in the area of customer service, analyze client data as it relates to daily business operations, develop sales initiatives geared towards foreign students studying in Sevilla, as well as research best practices for enhancing membership experience. In addition to these responsibilities, students studying Exercise Science may also assist personal trainers with the development and implementation of personal training schedules.
Environmental Foundation
Be a part of a unique environmental initiative to re-purpose and utilize pavillions, gardens and other stuctures once used for the 1992 Universal Exposition in Sevilla. Participants work alongside educators, architects, environmentalists and partner NGOs to promote biodiversity and educate the public about sustainable development. Give tours and disseminate information about the foundation, reaching out to national and international audiences.
International Entertainment Company
Interns will perform administrative tasks such as reporting, invoice processing, customer relationship management and accounting of business operations. In addition to these tasks, the intern will have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of company projects as well as participate actively in weekly departmental meetings.
Children's Health Foundation
Established in Sevilla in 1906, this Foundation is one of the oldest organizations in Spain that is dedicated to the prevention of infant mortality. Participants will have the opportunity to work with at-risk youth and their families to support, counsel and provide health services to the developing population. Educate individuals from the immigrant community, shadow doctors and nurses, research, develop, and implement national and international projects focusing on children's health.
Women's Rights Association
Founded in 1986, this organization was created to promote values of feminism, equality, freedom, development and peace for some of the most vulnerable sectors of society: women, children, immigrants and senior citizens. Provide guidance, training and labor insertion, disadvantaged groups to promote employment and independence. This placement is ideal for students interested in human rights, gender studies and identity politics.
